 Ivan Dochter is a graduate accountant and attorney with degrees from City University of New York and New York University Law School. Before directing his skills to the real estate industry, Ivan enjoyed a thriving law practice in New York City. He is an accomplished professional in all areas of real estate and has written and lectured extensively on the complexities of 1031 Exchanges. Under his guidance, Excel has acted as the real estate advisor for transactions in excess of $3 Billion. Ivan lives in North Hills, NY with his wife and is the proud grandfather of five.
Eric M. Dochter

 Eric Dochter began his real estate career in 1981. He worked for major real estate firms in New York City in sales and office leasing for over 10 years. Before founding Excel with his father, he completed commercial sales and lease transactions in excess of $500 million. At Excel, Eric continues to use his extensive industry knowledge to focus on 1031 Exchanges. His quarter century of experience makes him adept at quickly and effectively executing the most complicated exchanges. He attended Syracuse University and lives in Woodbury, NY. His two sons attend University of Texas and University of Pittsburgh.

 Ivy Palmer's extensive and diverse 15 year background enables her to facilitate sophisticated replacement property transactions with unique insight and ease. After graduating law school, Ivy served as Senior Project Manager for the NYC Division of Real Property where she specialized in property acquisition and finance. Subsequently, she worked for a New York City law firm and a commercial real estate brokerage firm, assisting in identifying replacement properties and structuring 1031 Exchange solutions. Most recently, Ivy was the Senior Manager of a title agency where she oversaw the timely closure of complex 1031 Exchanges. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a JD from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and lives in Dix Hills, NY with her husband and three children.
